Connecting Your Device Accounts to Yonomi

Yonomi connects to the cloud accounts of many popular devices, such as Nest, Philips Hue, LIFX and August, so you can control them when you’re away from home. Plus, you can control multiple devices as part of Routines. Here’s how to setup your device accounts using Philips Hue as the example.

How To Connect Your Devices In The Yonomi App

1. iOS: Tap the settings icon in the upper left-hand corner and select Accounts & Hubs.
Android: Tap the icon in the upper left-hand corner and select Accounts & Hubs.


2. If your account has already been automatically discovered and is listed under Setup Required or Not Connected, just click on that row to start setting it up. Tap on the account you’d like to add, e.g.”Philips Hue Account” then tap “Connect.”


3. If your account is missing, tap on “+”  to see a list of supported accounts then select the account type you want to add.  Yonomi supports adding multiple accounts of the same type, so if you have multiple logins or a family member has a second account, you can add those too.


4. Once your account is created, tap “Connect,” then login with your Philips Hue Account credentials.  After logging in, it may take a couple of seconds for the connection process to complete, and you’ll then be directed back to the app.  Your account should now be listed as “Connected.” Return to the Dashboard to see your newly discovered devices and start creating Routines you can control from anywhere.
